Our retail store, Cozy Creative Center, is located in Granite Hills, a neighborhood of El Cajon California just minutes outside San Diego.

While the name Cozy implies small and full of flannel, we are actually 7500 square feet and full of bright, fun fabrics. We carry over 3,000 bolts of quality fabric lines such Tula Pink, Moda, Island Batik, Hoffman, Kimberbell, Benartex, P&B, Andover, Riley Blake, Robert Kaufman, Northcott, Timeless Treasures, and more. We offer classes, inspiration, and the friendliest staff around. We are big enough to have a great in-store selection. But we aren’t too big to forget about our customers.

We also proudly carry Bernina, Brother, and Handi Quilter machines, and Horn and Koala cabinets. We offer mastery classes and training with the purchase of a new machine. We also run many clubs like Cozy Embroidery Club, Cozy Breakfast club, and School of Embroidery.

We have an onsite tech who can work on any machine brand. He’s the best!

When the lockdown hit, we started a weekly live broadcast called Monday Night Live. Customers loved it so much that we decided to continue the live stream even after we opened back up. We invite you to join the fun on Mondays at 4pm (Pacific) on the Cozy Creative Facebook page.

We also run a Strip Club! Cozy started the strip club trend soon after opening. It was our catchy way of inspiring customers by providing both strips and a new pattern each month. We invited them for a monthly presentation and watched as they enjoyed coming in, visiting, and making friends. After a two-year hiatus thanks to stupid covid and stupid cancer, Strip Club is back! We’ll hold this free event on the second Saturday. Check our calendar for details.

Because of Strip Club, we launched our pattern publishing sister company, Cozy Quilt Designs. We boast over 180 patterns for 2 ½” strips, 124 patterns for other cuts, 18 books, and 3 rulers. One of those rulers is our best-selling Strip Tube Ruler and his little buddy Strip Tube Junior.

In the Area

We are located just minutes east of San Diego in the city of El Cajon. From the west, take Interstate 8 East and exit the freeway at Second Street in El Cajon and turn right (which is South). Go about a mile and then cross straight over Washington Avenue and then make a right into our shopping center. We're at the back of the center between the Outback Steakhouse and CVS.
